Here she is getting ready.

And then the puddle jumping begins!!

Then, Mia decided that she could use a nap more than Bitty Baby.
Of course, Mia had to teach CJ all about blocks. We are very thankful that these are the lightweight cardboard kind that don't hurt when the fall over. Otherwise, CJ (and the rest of the family) would definitely have many more bumps and bruises.
We can't wait to see Grandma and the rest of the family at the River in just a few weeks!
Mia loves exploring Nina's gardens with Dad.
She and Jabber are finally becoming best friends. As many of you know, Mia seems to get nervous around dogs and takes a long time to warm up to them. Jabber is one of the calmest, most relaxed puppies ever, which has made their "getting to know you" period a lot easier for everyone.
We also got to spend a lot of time with the Bowmans, who live in DC, but life with little kids means that we don't get to see them as often as Mia would like. Mia loves playing with Sarah. Sarah likes laughing at Mia and especially likes her yellow rain boots.

We think CJ looks a little frightened in this shot. We hope he doesn't think he and Mia will have to share the crib.

The lions and tigers were even out.
